Discussing Diversity with Jade Agua

This week, we discussed the broad, all-encompassing topic of Diversity, with Jade Agua, Director of the Cross-Cultural Center here at UCI. Originally from East Side San Jose,  Jade is a 4th generation Filipino Chinese American whose family immigrated to the United States through Hawai’i. With extensive experience in Sociology and Public Administration, she is committed to empowerment through education, holistic human development, and social justice.
From talking about the philosophy behind the establishment of the Cross-Cultural Center and Jade's own experiences with respect to other cultures to speaking about the impact of the current political atmosphere on Jade's work and on the country in general, the show was insightful to me, and I hope the audience as well!
